I agree with you in that WCAG is both flawed and infused with tremendous research.

I distilled the research (why change a good thing?) to make it easier to understand and removed some items that would be overly burdensome while adding some requirements that would disallow automatic content. This doesn’t take away from WCAG as a technical reference.
