I really appreciate the criticism. Here are my responses to each of your points:

  • I’ve actually been working on completely new frameworks/designs for the websites to replace the makeshift adaptation of the WP themes I used. I’m going to add a placeholder theme until I finish the new framework.
  • WAS largely distills WCAG’s principles and adds to them by disallowing automatic content.
  • WCAG is a good technical reference but it’s not fit for mainstream consumption.
  • Conversely, why not create something else?
  • Free A11y resources are terrific but they don’t begin to scratch the surface on the solutions that the market needs.
